There are throughout our website a number of items that have a caption indicating they are displayed at MAP price, and a link for obtaining your "MAP Price".

The reason for this is what is known as "MAP", or Minimum Advertised Price.

MAP is a voluntarily agreement that all legitimate manufacturer authorized retailers enter into with their authorized USA supplier, usually the manufacturer, and in some cases, the official USA distribution arm designated by the manufacturer. According to such agreements, retailers can usually sell MAP restricted items for any price they choose, but may not display in any print or online advertising, a price below the Minimum Advertised Price.

We adhere to MAP restrictions because our relationship with our authorized suppliers demands it. We are an honorable, honest company - we keep agreements with vendors AS WELL as our customers, because it is the right way to do business. Such adherence also guarantees our customers...YOU...get proper and prompt service from these manufacturers should you need it, not to mention advance notice on exciting new model launches, which often hit the market in extremely limited quantities known throughout the industry as "allocations". Dealers that do not abide by requested pricing policies are generally cut off from such products, not to mention post sale service.

We respect our MAP contracts, and wherever the scope of that agreement permits us an avenue to supply product for a transactional selling price below MAP, we make those prices available to you in the easiest, quickest manner allowed us.

We handle MAP restrictions in an easy to obtain format:

• When you see NewBart Price:  Click Here - On a Product Information page there will be a message indicating that the product displayed has Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) applied.
• After clicking on the NewBart Price:  Click Here - There will be an input box for entering your existing User Name and Password to Login and access the Product Information page with the price displayed or you can “Create a NewBart Account” by selecting the button below the Login.
• To Create a NewBart Account you only need follow these simply steps:
• Click on the button that reads “Create a new NewBart Account”.
• A short form popup box will appear for you to fill out.
• After clicking on the Submit button you will see a notice that reads an activation link has been sent to the e-mail address you supplied.
• Open that e-mail and click on the activation link.
• You will then be returned to the Login page.
• Each time you return to the NewBart web site you will see the products priced with Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) applied without having to Login again (see note 1 below).

The small effort it might take to login or “Create a NewBart Account” in order to obtain such transaction prices is well worth the effort in just about every case, as your savings can be tremendous.

Notes:

1)     If you delete your computer’s cookies then you will have to Login with your User Name & Password. The Login fields are available on every page of the NewBart web site.

2)     If you ever forget your Password we have supplied a way for you to retrieve the Password by selecting the Forgot your password? link on each Login interface.

a.     Enter your User Name

b.     Answer your secret question and you will be logged in to see all the products with Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) applied.
